Breast cancer 3 day

A 60 day long walk movement, involving people from all walks of life, talking only about the hope that is omnipresent in the fellow walkers, Breast cancer 3 day.

Initiated by the people with total and personal involvement, the core strength being either of the one who has suffered or seen someone suffer, and most crucial and important, recover from the ill-fated symptoms. The event is participation out of one’s own accord, to cover 60 miles by foot, meanwhile spreading the word around about the evils and perils of this disease.

This is a major drive to raise funds that support research and rehabilitation programme for patients. The participants of the walkathon, breast cancer 3 day, of a different kind though, are mostly volunteers, even recovered patients of the dreaded disease. The commitment total, the expectations minimal, the rewards almost divine, the invigorated mass continues the drive, oblivious of the discomforts of overnight staying in tents and exposure to elements during the walk and find bliss in overcoming personal fears and helping others who think they are alone in the fight against the illness.

This annual event is sponsored by foundations, to name a few, Avon foundation, Susan G. Kommen foundation and many others actively associated with the fund raising activities. This activity features at the on-line calendars of many, who are the sole beneficiaries of this act of noble proportions and extensive reach, far and wide.

A situation in life of anyone and everyone, who on the smooth highway of life suddenly is hit by a bolt from the blue. The screening mammograms scream at the wide-eyed patient about the way the sufferer is different or is branded different. The growth of the cancerous cell suddenly overshadows the entire horizon, the jerk as the car suddenly hits the pothole is not easy to comprehend, cope-up and even to come to terms with.

This is the moment of truth, when the speck in the sky, suddenly develops into a beacon of hope. There are many, many more others like you. Being told that you are not alone in this world is a welcome sign. The force behind this movement engulfs you, accepts you and enables you to steer clear of the next pothole of guilt, of hushed concerns, and lets you hold your head high, step out in the sun, run that only 60-mile event, memorizing each and every step, decidedly stronger and stubborn, to take the fight to a place where you never could have imagined to take on your own.

Come; join the movement, breast cancer 3 day.
