Good health depends on when, how much and what we eat, as our meal selections are very similar in chemical and nutrient content. What we eat is as important as when and how much we eat. This commendably successful weigh down plan guarantees to deliver the results always wanted quickly and safely. The Weigh Down plan is a popular weight loss system.

The Weigh Down plan has a Christian base. Gwen is a registered dietitian with a master's degree in food and nutrition. The main idea behind the Weigh Down plan is to take the focus off of food and onto God. The program takes full responsibility for actions, upbringing, genes, or circumstances for weight problems. It says to face the fact that weight is a result of eating too much food.

Weigh Down teaches that the body is the temple of the Lord and it should not be hurt or abused. The idea is to eat all regular foods by just cutting down the amount. It suggests that the stomach is the size of a fist so the amount of food that should be eaten at one sitting should be accordingly. The body should be given a variety of foods and needs to be listened to and given what it is asking for.

Drinking water, diet sodas, and artificially sweetened teas is emphasized. The main point considered in weigh down plan is to distinguish between true physical hunger and head hunger or emotional hunger. The plan suggests that you should stop eating food when you are pleasantly full. Train yourself to eat between the boundaries of true hunger and satisfaction that will help your body to automatically crave those things that it needs to be nutritionally sound. The weigh down plan says that exercise is not necessary unless you enjoy it and really want to exercise.

The main benefits of the weigh down plan are: • One grows closer to God with a renewed sense of spiritual well being by living within original plan for eating.
• A sense of control develops and we are in control of the food, it no longer controls us.
• Freedom to eat any kind of food within the boundaries of hunger and slightly full.
