How Does Teeth Whitener Toothpaste Work?
Teeth whitener toothpastes are extremely effective in creating a flashy smile. People swarm supermarket aisles trying to find the cure for their yellow teeth. Toothpaste has become the answer. It may be effective, but how do these whitening toothpastes work.
Everyone is born with white molars. As they years go by, that glossing white coating begins to stain. Foods we eat, such as berries, soy sauce, tea, and coffee begin turning them into yellowish colored chompers. One of the only ways to reverse this yellow stain is with whitening toothpaste.
Whitening toothpaste uses a special ingredient called Calprox to fix the problem. There is a yellowish film that is caused by a sticky outer coating. Calprox dissolves this coating for the purpose of whitening. Since it is not the tooth itself that becomes stained, removing this sticky outer coating reveals the true white below.
Be aware of some whitening toothpastes. Ineffective whitening toothpastes use harsh abrasives to scrub the surface. At first these toothpastes may seem like they are working, but in fact, they are doing harm. In time, these so called whitening toothpastes will scratch the enamel off. Once this white enamel is gone, it will reveal a yellow tinted tooth below.
Whitening toothpastes are one of the most affordable ways to whiten your teeth. Other methods will prove to be quicker, but not as cost effective. You could get them bleached at the dentist office. You could also buy whitening trays and gel. Both of these methods are effective but very expensive.
Whitening toothpastes are designed to reverse the yellow staining. It is inevitable that one day yours will become stained. Any food item can and will stain. There are just some foods that will stain quicker then others. It is the job of the toothpaste manufacturers to correct that problem. People were meant to have white smiles.
